Growing up Stacey Copeland would visit her grandfather in his boxing gym, after a while, Stacey decided that she wanted to become a professional boxer just like him and her father, until she was told that boxing was illegal for women.

Stacey looked for another sport to play professional and would find football, where she would represent England at youth level and play in an FA Cup final.

Eventually boxing would be made legal for women, and in her thirties Stacey was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional boxer, becoming the first British woman to win the Commonwealth Boxing Championship, before being forced to retire after 5 fights, of which she won all of them.

This documentary by Amber Oakes looks at Stacey in her grandfathers gym, where she looks to encourage the next generation to enjoy boxing and removing any stigma people have of it.
